Perfect holidays

In my perfect holidays I would like to rent a rural house with my friends to stay there for four days. On the first day, in morning we would do paint-ball and in afternoon we may go out into pubs and bars.

On the second day, we might climb some mountains and have a lunch and a dinner in the top of the mountain.

On the third day, in morning we would climb a mountain and have lunch in the top of it. At nigh we may listen to Siniestro Total's concert.

And on the fourth day we might go to the museum of the car and be there in moorning. At afternoon we may stay at rural house sleeping or having fun.

For my holidays I would like to go to U.S.A and to Greece.

At first I would go to the United States which is situated in central North America, and make a visit to all the country, a guided tour.






Once I was there, the first city I would visit it is Washington because is the capital of U.S.A and because I would like to visit the White House, then New York because of the skyscrapers and in the end I would visit Orlando because of the Warner Bros.

Another country that I would like to visit on holidays is Greece where I would go by cruise. When I was there I would visit the most important islands like Hermoupolis, Andros, Icaria ... and after that I would go to Athens and visit the Parthenon and the Olympic Stadium.



After visit all those places I think I would have a relaxing week in an hotel in Macedon and go back to Spain.

San Francisco

This summer I would like to go to San Francisco. Since I'm young, I'd like to go to there because I always see this city in films. I love the parks , the people, the food .... I would like to stay with a family in their house to learn more about their culture and about the city.If I stayed there, I would improve my English and meet some new people .

There I would like to visit all the famous places like the Golden Gate bridge, the modern art museum,the Golden Gate park.... If I went there, I would a lot of photos to shaw them to all my friends and to my family.

I would like to eat some typical San Francisco food to try it .Moreover I would to go shopping to Union Square because is a well-known shopping district. In San Francisco the baseball is one of the most important sports so I would like to go to a match and also practise it.

In conclusion, these would be my perfect holidays.I would spent all my time there enjoying my jobies , learning English and meeting people.

My perfect holidays

If I have to prepare perfect holidays I would like to go to "Las Vegas" and to Hawaii.

Las Vegas is the most popular city in the United State of Nevada. Las Vegas, is famous for the number of casinos and associated entertainment.

I would like to go to Las Vegas with my friends without parents when I am eighteen. There I want to visit all the casinos it has and also visit and a really amazing ride. Here I have included a video, so you can see how the attraction is like .





In my opinion this attraction it´s too frightening if you aren´t brave. Because, you have to know that you are situated on the top of a one hundred four floor. Then you sit down in a type os car (more or less) and you go down a slope but always in the same height.

This attraction would be interesting to go on at night because you could see incredible views.

I think it is the best attraction on the world, however I am not sure that I would be brave enough to go on it.

I would also like to go to Hawaii.

I love the beaches and I´m my opinion in Hawaii there are the best beaches on the world. The beaches are very beautiful as you can see in the picture.

As well, in Hawaii you have all you need to live well. You have shops, supermarkets, places to have fun...

Going to these two places would be really good and I am sure that I´m going to go.

My perfect holidays.

This summer I would like to go to Malta. It's an island to the south of Italy. It's a nice place where the temperature is high and it's always sunny. There are a lot of beaches and the sea is beautiful. It's blue like the sky.

The people who live there are very friendly and nice.
The food there is better than in Spain, in my opinion and there are tasty pizzas there.
What I want to see there are the islands of Comino and Gozo. And in the north of the island I want to see The Valleta that is a place where there are a lot of beaches and cliffs. I would visit the Hilton hotel that is great and enormous.

At night there's many parties there and I would go to the discos and meet other people. There are a lot of monuments too that I want to visit. I'd like to visit the most important cities historically where there are ruins and strange caves

Those would be my perfect holidays.

Talking about holidays - Venice

For my holidays I would like to go to Venice that is a city in northern Italy. It's an interesting place where all the canals are flooded so you can't walk through the street. The classical Venetian boat is the gondola, although it is now mostly used for tourists. Most Venetians now travel by motorised waterbuses (vaporetti).

In Venice, I would like to get on a gondola and to see the canals and the many bridges like the Bridge of Sighs, called Ponte dei Sospiri in Italian. I also want to see the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana, the Galleria Internazionale d'Arte Moderna and the Palazzo Fortuny, which are wonderful places with an important part of the Venecian culture.

The Carnival of Venice was first recorded in 1268 and it's recognized all over the world. That's why I want to see it. People wear beautiful masks and you can really have fun. It would be so enjoyable and unforgettable.

The holidays of my dreams

For my next holidays I would like to visit many estranges and interesting places and cities like Africa or India.

First of all, I would like to visit Africa's deserts and stay there for a long time to learn the culture and customs of people who had lived there all their life.

There, I would enjoy going along the deserts riding a camel. There I would be able to cope with the heat or I wish that! On the one hand I would have to survive eating disgusting animals like scorpions and sleeping in uncomfortable tents. It would be really unpleasant! But on the other hand I think that I wouldn't forget it in my hole life and I think that I would learn many interesting things and it would be really fascinating.

Then I would like to visit India and wear the spectacular clothes that they wear everyday. I would like to help poor children who live there too because I think that they don't deserve to have an indecent childhood. I would taste the extrange foods of there too, as in Africa. But I think that the most interestintg part of my trip to India would be to visit beautiful palaces like Taj Mahal.
Other beautiful places would be the markets. There they sell all kind of things that you need in your everyday life. They are very beautiful because they sell especially colorful clothes and carpets.

Holidays!!

In my opinion, the holidays are the best time of the year. I think that summer holidays are better than winter ones because there are more things to do and the weather is much better.
This summer I'm going to England for four weeks. I think that´s an interesting place to visit and I hope I will have a great time there. But if I had to choose, I would like to go to USA, especially New York or Chicago. Although I like little villages, I also like big cities and in the future, I would like to live in one of them. I have only seen New York and Chicago in photos, but I think they are incredible.
New York is one of the biggest cities in the world, and it´s almost more important than Washington. It is a great place to go sightseeing, because you can visit the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Central Park or the Midtown Manhattan skyline, and you can go shopping because there are lots of shops.
In Chicago, there are less things to visit, but it´s incredible to see really high buildings like the Sears Towers.

In conclusion, the places I would like to visit the most are Chicago and New York, and if it was possible, I would like to visit them with friends.

In our name

In our name we would help poor people by going to Africa as missionaries. We would live there for six months. We could give them some food, clothes and build houses. If we were rich, we would give part of our money for building and conserving a new school with books, notebooks, pencils and so on.
And an other part of our money would be for medicin because in The Third World there are a lot of illnesses like AIDS, malaria, typhus...
Also, we will accept people who would come to be part of this project.

In our names we would help poor people to have a better life. For example, we would suggest to the Government to create associations to help these people by giving them work to earn money or offering them food and clothes. When foreign people are sick they could provide doctors for them and when they are ilegal help them to become citizen. When they can't have a good education
we could help them with that problem offering them a free school.

In our opinion it's a good idea that people do this for poverty in the world.
In our name we would go to poor countries to be with them and help with medicines because they haven't got anything when they are ill, so most of them die.We would help them by teaching, we could teach them to count or to read because that is the most essential point of teaching.We could help them with food because they always eat the same and this is very unhealthy for everyone, they have to eat more different types of food.But often they don't have anything to eat, and we could help them with this by bringing from our country different types of food like potatos, spaghetti, bread, whatever.

Bilbao

Bilbao, in Spain, is the largest city in the Basque Country. The most important river there is the Nervión River.

It has about 360,000 inhabitants. Bilbao is also considered to be around the towns Erandio, Sondika, Derio, Zamudio,

Etxebarri, Basauri and Barakaldo.

Bilbao was founded by Diego Lopez de Haro on 15 June 1300.

The older part of Bilbao is the Old Town or "Casco Viejo" where there are many monuments, shops and tavems.

The most important museum of Bilbao is the Guggenheim. It's a modern and contemporary art museum.

It was designed by a Canadian man and the museum was opened in 1997. There is another Guggenheim in

the world that it's in United States of America. The exhibitions in the museum itself change often. It's centered

in Chinesse and Russian art. There is an important sculture called "Puppy" by Jeff Koons in front of the museum.

There is also another important museum that is the Maritime museum.

Athletic Club Bilbao is the football team of Bilbao.

The club plays in "primera división" since it's started en 1928.

They have won the league in eight ocassions.

They are famous as the "rojiblancos" because of their red and white

striped shirts. Their stadium is called San Mamés. Athletic only

signs to native proffesionals players.

The San Mamés stadium is hence nicknamed "the footlball

cathedral"

The university of Deusto is important too. It was founded in 1886. It is one of the most important institutions of Spain. The university has another campus in San Sebastian.

The cod pil pil is very typical in Bilbao. When the people came here

they usually try it and like it. The "pintxos" are also popular here and

the place where we eat them is in the "Casco Viejo".

In my opinion Bilbao is very beautiful and it has a lot of things to do here. The people who came

here always or usually like it, and the museum is the part most visited.

My home town.

My home town is Bilbao because I have lived there since I was born. It´s a small city in the north of Spain. When I was younger I wanted to go to live in a big city like Madrid or Barcelona but now I have changed my opinion because I think that Bilbao is great. I think that it isn´t very dangerous and you can feel safe because it´s very small and there isn´t much people. There are very many pubs too, in the `casco viejo´and there´s a very important museum called Guggenheim.

There´s a very important and prestigious university called `Deusto´s university´ where you can study many degrees. There centre of the city is Gran Via street where you can find the most famous and beautiful shops for clothes. This is part of the city that I like most.

If you go to Bilbao you should eat "bacalao al pil pil" which is very delicious!

Themountains which are next to Bilbao is Gorbea, which the half of the mountain is in Alava and the other half is in Bizkaia and it´s high is 1481 metres.Pagasarri is 673 metres and the Ganekogorta which is next to Pagasarri and it´s 998 metres high.Bilbao´s nickname is the hole.


The climate of Bilbao isn´t very pleasant ,because it rains a lot . In winter the are more or less from 3 degrees to 10 , and in summer the weather is better but the summers aren´t very hot.



The most beautiful places of Bilbao are the Guggenheim museum, the Nervion River which is very important.And the oldest part of the city. Most of the people who come to Bilbao visit those places.

Bilbao's football team it's Athletic club.They have been playing in the firts divition since 1928.And they have won the liga eigth times.The stadium of this team is San Mames and it's nickname is "the football cathredal".Athletic it's the only team who has all the players from the Basque Country.Their t-shirt is striped red and white and their manager is Joaquin Caparros.My favourite player is Yeste, because he is a very good player and he aports a lot to the team.

Inmy opinion,the people who live there are very nice.Lots of people come to visit this city and they say that they like it very much,and that the food is one of the best of the world.

I´m going to write about Bilbao, the city where I live. Bilbao is the capital of the province of Biscay and one of the most important city in Spain. Bilbao has 354,145 inhabitants and all the villages around Bilbao compose Great Bilbao, with 950,155inhabitants. Some years ago, Bilbao was really important because of industry and port, the fourth port in Spain.
I live in a small area in the north of Bilbao called Begoña. Begoña is important because of its basilica and the Etxebarria park. The Basilica of Begoña is a beautiful Gothic church built in the 17th century. The Virgin of Begoña is the most important Virgin for the people of Biscay. Etxebarria Park is the biggest park in Bilbao and some years ago there were some factories and now there is a big fireplace in memory of these factories.
Gran Via is the most important street in Bilbao and one of the widest. In Gran Via there are the most fashion shops and business buildings. If you like going shopping this is the best place . Here there is the highest building of all Bilbao: the BBVA building.
If you like sports there is a good basketball team in Bilbao called Iurbentia Bilbao Basket. This team plays in the ACB league and it has become a really good team. Iurbentia plays in La Casilla court, a small court but a beautiful place to see all the matches.

In the old part of the city there is the Arriaga theatre and the "Plaza Nueva". There are also some comercial streets.In the old part of the city there are some bars of "Pintxos".It is a little snack that people eat at the same time that they drink. Many Pintxos are very tasty.



The rest of the centre of Bilbao are the areas of Abando, Moyua and Indautxu.The "Paseo de Uribitarte" goes from Abando to Moyua along side to Nervion river. People go there to ride a bicycle, to rolling or simply for a walk. It is a beautiful paseo. If you go along, you arrive to the Guggenheim museum which is an art gallery.




Around of Bilbao there are many mountains like Gorbea (1482 metres high), Anboto (1331 metres high), Pagasarri (673 metres high). In my opinion you can see very beautiful sceneries from the top of these mountains.





The climate of Bilbao is very wet.


Many people of Bilbao are fanatic of the football team Athletic Club. This team is playing in the liga since 1928. They t-shirts are striped red and white.Athletic only sings professional players who were born in one of the seven provinces of the Baque Country.Their stadium is called San Mamés and it is nicknamed " the football cathedral".



If you came to the Baque Country come to visit Bilbao. It's very beautiful city!

The most important building in Bilbao is the Guggenheim museum.
Guggenheim museum is a modern and contemporary art museum designed by Canadian.

Another building important in Bilbao is the Arriaga Theatre. Is an opera house in Bilbao, Spain. It was built in Neoclassical style by architect Joaquín Rucoba in 1890.

An other site to visit is Old part of the city.

The tipical food in Bilbao is the bacalao.

Bilbao has a football team in the Spanish First Division men.

His name is Athletic Club and it was founded in 1898 and it won 8 leagues.

Bilbao was too a basketball team called Iurbentia Bilbao Basket.

My home town is Bermeo. But it's a long time since I have lived in there, I moved away when I was four. I left Bermeo because I had to study in Deusto. However, now I like Deusto more than Bermeo.

In Bermeo they sell a lot of fishes. You can eat the best "marmitako" anywhere in Bermeo. There are also shops where you can buy fishing products .

Bermeos high school is one the most difficult ones. One of the most important student of the high school is Nestor Barrenetxea, he is a sculptor and there is a place in the park of Bermeo where yo can see his sculptures.

In Bermeo there is a shipyard where the ships made of wood, not with metal. There is the museum of the fishing and a Church and Convent of San Francisco that it's 652 years old.

If you go to Bermeo you can visit the Kaixio bar, and the batun-batun pub, they are one of the best bars of Bermeo. And in the port you can find an Italian ice-cream parlour.
